I like this painting of two horses, and there’s a little tale that goes with it.
The manager of the Humane Society thrift store told me that it was painted by a regular customer. She buys paintings and prints from the thrift store, takes them home and embellishes them, then she donates them back and the store gets to sell them again.

When I got home I took the painting out of the frame, and realized it was originally a print on card, and stamped on the back was the name of the original Hungarian artist, Denes de Holesch, who painted a lot of horses.
I like the original, but I like my version a bit more.
